SPRINGFIELD's Story

Our Springfield, Missouri shop opened on July 30th, 2010 and is the fourth store in The Cup family. We are thrilled to be a part of Springfield's thriving downtown, with it's specialty boutiques and artistic flair.

When Springfield Cup manager Kate Reed was asked to describe herself, she focused on her spontaneity and the fact that she will try anything once.  Her team wanted us to point out that "she is also commonly mistaken for Cinderella and they're pretty sure her morning routine includes being surrounded by helpful woodland creatures."  That seems a little over-the-top to us, but we can't argue that Kate is sweet, kind, and, honestly, dreamy.  This Washington state native moved to Springfield with her husband Nigel (and their rescue cat, Tilly) in May of 2010. She loves the great people and stores that populate downtown Springfield and is excited to be a part of that vibrant community. Kate's enthusiasm, natural warmth, and genuine care for others is obvious and, although she may not be a REAL princess, we are sure you'll be enchanted by her (sorry, did we take that too far?).
